Using the app
OnScreen QR provides local screen scanning, image scanning, QR creation, QR Library, history, favorites, sharing, and related utility features. Use the app lawfully and only with content you are authorized to access. You are responsible for content you scan, create, save, or share and for reviewing decoded values before taking action.
Permissions and protected content
The app may use Android permissions for overlay display, screen capture, notifications, foreground operation, vibration, and optional camera scanning. You control these permissions through Android. Protected content may not be available, and the app does not bypass FLAG_SECURE, Android security controls, or another app’s access restrictions.
Free and Pro access
Basic manual screen scanning, local image scanning, and basic QR creation do not require an account or subscription. Pro features are enabled only after purchase verification and may include encrypted persistent history, QR Library persistence, favorites, saved projects, advanced QR design, templates, exports, selected-result sharing, and an ad-free app-owned experience.
Purchases and subscriptions
Pro Monthly and Pro Annual provide ongoing access to Pro features during each paid period and renew through Google Play until canceled. Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Prices, taxes, availability, renewal, cancellation, and refunds are shown by Google Play and governed by applicable Google Play terms and law.
Canceling a subscription stops future renewal. Access normally continues through the paid period, and cancellation does not automatically refund that period. Google Play handles purchase payment and eligible refund decisions. Restore Purchases can recover verified access using the same Google account.
Safe actions
The app does not automatically open links, call phone numbers, join Wi-Fi networks, launch payment flows, create contacts, or execute scanned content. You choose whether to copy, share, or use an explicit reviewed action. External websites and services have their own terms and privacy policies.
Availability and changes
We may improve, change, suspend, or discontinue features. We do not guarantee that every QR code, barcode, device, protected surface, image, or external service will be supported. Feature and policy changes will be reflected in the app or on the project policy pages when applicable.
