OnScreen QR Scan & Generator is an Android-first utility for scanning QR codes and supported barcodes already visible on your screen. The primary flow stays simple: open the floating scanner, position the region, scan, and review the result before choosing what happens next.

Scan what is already on your screen

  • Scan QR codes and supported barcodes from another app without a second device.
  • Use explicit Android screen-capture consent and a visible, stoppable scanner bubble.
  • Process basic screen frames locally on the device and respect protected content.

Create and manage QR projects

Create QR codes locally for links, text, Wi-Fi, phone, email, SMS, contacts, locations, and social profiles. Customize supported designs, labels, colors, gradients, templates, and exports, then revisit generated work in the QR Library.

Free and Pro

Free use includes manual screen scanning, local image scanning, and basic QR creation without a scan-count limit. Verified Pro adds encrypted persistent history, QR Library persistence, favorites, saved projects, advanced QR design, templates, exports, selected-result sharing, and an ad-free experience on app-owned surfaces.

Pro Monthly and Pro Annual provide ongoing access during each paid period and renew through Google Play until canceled. Pro Lifetime is a one-time purchase and does not renew. Prices, taxes, availability, and billing terms are shown by Google Play before purchase.

Permissions and privacy

Screen Scan uses Android overlay access and MediaProjection consent only when you start screen scanning. Notifications keep active capture visible and stoppable. Camera access is optional and belongs only to the separate camera workflow. Basic screen and image processing stays on-device; the app does not automatically open links, call numbers, join Wi-Fi, launch payments, create contacts, or execute decoded content.
